A Hospital Visit…

Corridors long and wide,
To the wards they lead,
The walls a murky shade,
Don’t do any good…

In the ward,
Bed after bed,
All apparently occupied,
Can’t help feeling sad…

It was visit period
I sat beside her bed
Easy chat we had
As time fast passed

Soon, visitors were dismissed
Visit time had elapsed

Yes, that’s exactly the way I also experience in a hospital! You are not really happy at the sight and passing through all those rooms and beds…. The best moment is when you leave the hospital, preferably with the patient declared healthy.
