Celebration of Life Well Lived…

It was a first for me, sitting through a funeral service, following the proceedings as the minutes rolled on. Well, I have lost loved ones, yes, but I have never had a chance of attending funeral services…and even funerals…

From the sorrowful bereaved,
Tributes to the deceased,
Were sung, spoken, read,
To honor the departed

Though time was limited,
Quite lots was said,
One could only conclude,
T’s life well lived,
Ultimately being, respectfully celebrated

Yes, she is gone,
But memories leave on…

      Hi Keating,
One should leave life such that when gone, their life is celebrated and not just, like what I witnessed today, a celebration of life…
      Thanks for your comment.
